Fleet Duel
Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 29, 2026
Fleet Duel is a naval strategy game available at fleetduel.com. This policy explains the information used when you play, sign in, use multiplayer features, or enable alerts.
Information used by the game
- Account information: Google sign-in provides a Firebase account identifier and may provide your Google display name, email address, and profile image to authenticate your account.
- Profile and scores: your callsign, optional avatar URL, ranked scores, duel rating, wins, losses, and match availability are stored to operate multiplayer and the leaderboard.
- Game and community content: fleet placement, match events, multiplayer results, and Harbor chat messages are used to run the game and show them to the relevant players. If a message is reported, the report reason, message identifier, reporter identifier, reported player identifier, and a limited copy of the message are stored for moderation.
- Safety controls: when you block a captain, we store the blocked account identifier and display name privately in your profile so their Harbor messages, invitations, roster visibility, and chat alerts can be hidden for you.
- Presence: a short-lived online/offline status is used to show who is available for a duel.
- Alerts: after you explicitly enable alerts, a device push token and basic device/platform details are stored so Firebase Cloud Messaging can deliver challenges, turns, results, and Harbor updates.
Why we use it
We use this information to authenticate players, create callsigns, operate matches, calculate verified ranks, deliver requested notifications, prevent duplicate or invalid game actions, moderate Harbor, and provide support. Fleet Duel does not sell personal information or use native Android or iOS data for advertising tracking.
Services that process data
Fleet Duel uses Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Realtime Database, Cloud Functions, and Firebase Cloud Messaging to provide the game. The public web version also uses Google Analytics to understand web traffic. The native Android, iPhone, and iPad apps do not load the Google Analytics tag.
Sharing and visibility
Your callsign, avatar, rank, and selected match information can be visible to other Fleet Duel players through multiplayer, Harbor, and leaderboards. Do not post sensitive information in Harbor chat. Private fleet positions are not included in notification content. Harbor reports are private; other players cannot see who reported a message.
Your choices
You can play solo without an account. Signing in is optional, but required for ranked scores, multiplayer, and alerts. You can turn alerts off in Fleet Duel or your device settings. You can use report and block controls in Harbor. To request help with an account or data issue, contact support@fleetduel.com.
Account deletion
You can request deletion of a signed-in Fleet Duel account at fleetduel.com/delete-account/. After verification, we target deletion within 30 days. This removes or anonymizes the account, profile, callsign, leaderboard entries, push devices, presence, Harbor messages, match data, and associated identifiers that we control, subject to limited retention for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or an active safety report.
Children
Fleet Duel is intended for players aged 13 and over. The game includes optional multiplayer and Harbor chat.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the game changes. The current version is always available at this address. For privacy questions, contact support@fleetduel.com.
